I like Siemens for their rechargable battery system
I like Unitron for their wireless CROS system
I like Oticon for their Blue tooth system
I like Phonak for their frequency shifting
I like Starkey for their feedback manager and power CIC aids
I like GN Resound for their entry-level low-price product
It’s best that you see an audiologist who works with several companies so that you’re not limited.

They differ slightly in the algorithms they use; however you will want to go with a manufacturer your audiologist is most comfortable with and has found success with. There are many types of hearing loss. An audiologist is the best person to help you decide which is the best for your specific hearing deficits.
However, what I would suggest is that you take a look at the other link posted, and some of the various reviews online, and then go into your audiologist with a list of questions.
Patients always feel best, and have the best results when they make an informed decision. Always.
I’m very glad that you are deciding to wear a hearing aid – so many people don’t for various reasons, and they don’t realize how negatively not wearing one effects them.

Get advice from an audiologist and have your hearing tested before you buy any hearing aids. What is suitable for one person may not be suitable for you. Besides hearing aids are not cheap so you might want to consider have one custom made for you, if necessary.
