I had My hearing checked out at the VA Hosp. and got some hearing aids. I turn in my paper work for disability due to service connected. After that the VA office in Houston,tx sended me to a local hearing doctor to be checked again and I had my VA issue aids. I still tested with lost on both ears.
1.Why did they do this?…..A VA Hosp. stated I do have a hearing lost.
2. Why do they not take the word from a VA Hosp.?
3. If I do get a rating…will it be one for my rigth and one for my left?

i have sever hearing loss in my left ear. i am 32 years old

These are my credentials:
99.5 Weighted GPA
96 Unweighted GPA
I am in the top 10%
I play Football, Baseball and I Ski Race
I am also on the Debate Team and Scholars Bowl at my school
I am Class Treasure
I have a major hearing loss and I am required to wear hearing aids
I take honors classes

My boyfriend has to wear a hearing aid in his left ear. He has to take an annual hearing test for work but someone told us that wearing the hearing aid while he takes his hearing test (the pure tone test) will cause feedback. Does anyone know if this is true?
It is a custom mold hearing aid that you can barely see in his ear if that helps anyone answer this question. (Not the over the ear kind)
And please dont say, “Just have him take the hearing aid out for the test.” That is not an option right now. He has to be able to hear for his job and we do not want them to know he has a hearing aid in one ear.
