My wife has fibromyalgia. chronic fatigue syndrome (otherwise know as M.E.), polymyalgia rheumatica and spinalstenosis. I asked her if she had tinnitus and she said that it occurred occasionally. She felt that the medication did not affect this. I do not have fibromyalgia but I have tinnitus. In my case this is hereditary and runs down my fathers side of the family. For those interested my wife and I run a yahoo group for fibromyalgia sufferers. If you wish come over the link is:-http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/enfield…
my friend has fibromyalgia, she got diagnosed a few months back, she has been ill since christmas, depression is part of it anyway, why dont you speak to your docor about feeling depressed, they could help you, i,m not sure about tinnittus! hope you will be ok!
my mom has fibromyalgia also, but has never complained of her medication making her ears ring. Check with your pharmacist and doctor to see if that is a possible side effect of the medication and go from there. I do think they can operate for tinnitus, but I could be wrong.
It should not be because of the medication,You can check with your medical Doctor though and ask to have something different prescribed if it worries you. I advice a lot of stretching to help with the pain and hot baths work too.
Tinnitus is a common side effect of certain medications. Check with your pharmicist or physician to see if this could be causing it. Google tinnitus, there are many things you can do to alleviate (not cure) the symptoms of tinnitus (background music, headphones etc) Good luck to you
|Try the web site below. I have suffered from the samre ilness (without the tinnitus for 7 years now. its a very depressing illness but if you want to chat then get in touch at futbar@btinternet.com
You did not name the medication. I am not familiar with this as a part of fibromyalgia. It could be medicinal.
I have been diagnosed with this illness. Of course, calling your doctor or his/her nurse is the best advice. I do know with this illness, it complicates any other symptoms and infections you may have. Most medicines for this have many side affects; therefore it could be that your med should be changed.
