Can Craniosacral Therapy Help My Tinnitus?

I have never had tinnitus, but I have been in Craniosacral Classes with people who have.
My understanding is that they found profound benefits from a number of Craniosacral holds, particularly with Temporal and Parietal holds.
Of course, it partly depends on the cause of tinnitus. It also depends on your body’s response to Craniosacral and the effectiveness of Craniosacral for your particular situation (how long have you had tinnitus, what caused the condition in the first place, what other treatments you have tried, etc).
My recommendation – Craniosacral can be practiced by Massage Therapists, Nurses, Chiropractors, and Physical Therapists, as well as the Osteopaths that really are the original source of the practice. Of those, Massage Therapists are usually the most accessible. Rates run a little on the higher end of the cost of a massage, a bit over $60/hour and $90/hour and a half. Give it a try and hopefully you get some sign of results. If so, you continue to work with it until you get the results you want or you stop getting beneficial results.

Quite possibly, in the hands of the right physician. Make an appointment with a D.O. that practices manipulation, there are treatments that can help to alleviate or even eliminate recurrent tinnitus.
